LaGrotta struck out three in her 16th win of the season for the Lions, No. 4 in The Press Elite 11. Sacred Heart junior catcher Danielle Lugo singled in the top of the sixth inning for her 100th career hit. Kaila Smith doubled and hit a three-run home run.

For Cedar Creek, Cheyenne Meyer was 2-for-3, including a home run.
