Southern Regional High School's Ryan Rowland scored the final two goals of the game as the Rams ice hockey team rallied to beat host Point Pleasant Borough 4-3 Sunday in the first round of the Dowd Cup Tournament.
Southern trailed 3-1 after two periods, but the Rams got goals from John Puskas and Rowland to tie it before Rowland scored the winning goal with 8 minutes, 14 seconds left. Jeff Jillson scored Southern's other goal in the first period.
Rams goalie Kyle Pinder made 29 saves. Steven Kovaleski had a hat trick for Point Pleasnnt Borough.
