The Richard Stockton College women's indoor track and field team finished second among 17 teams and the Stockton men second out of 16 teams at the Frank Colden Invitational at Ursinus College on Saturday in Collegeville, Pa.

Stockton's Tim Miller (Pinelands Regional) won the men's high jump with a height of 1.93 meters. Teammate Ryan Mazzeo (Ocean City) won the pole vault with a height of 4.25 meters.

Stockton's Meagan Simmons (Southern Regional) won the women's triple jump with a distance of 10.31 meters. Teammate Morgan Sinclair won the women's mile in 5 minutes, 23.42 seconds. Sinclair won the 4x800-meter relay with Laura Warren, Sara Bridge (Pilgrim Academy) and Nicole Salge in 10:17.71.

The Ospreys got six second-place finishes overall.

Salge was second in the women's mile (5:22.96), and Stephanie Paluchowski was second in the 5,000 (19:39.34). Nikki Stratton was second for the Ospreys women in the long jump (5.17 meters), and Katie Jaeckel (Pinelands Regional) was second in the high jump (1.57 meters).

The Stockton men's 4x400 team of Chris Parlow, Charles Brown, Tyler Pinto and Andrew Wilson (Oakcrest) was second in 3:38.92. The 4x800 team of James Rivers (Barnegat), Phillip Palmer, Favad Akhtar (Atlantic City) and Mike Scala placed second in 8:46.81.

The weight throw was not contested at Ursinus. The Stockton throwers competed at the Widener Field Meet on Friday.

Stockton's best finish was third by Bree Hudik in the women's weight throw (11.73 meters).
