Stockton College women's basketball team does balancing act to beat St. Joseph's-Long Island

Six Richard Stockton College players scored at least 10 points as the Ospreys defeated St. Joseph's-Long Island 76-43 Monday night in a nonconference women's basketball game.

Sara Farrell, Tiana Cannon (Atlantic City) and Che'Na Thompson all had double-doubles for the Ospreys.

Stockton used a 15-2 run during a five-minute span of the first half to build a 31-21 halftime lead. Jennifer Galamb scored nine of her career-high 11 points during that spurt.

Thompson grabbed 10 of her 11 rebounds and scored seven of her 11 points in the second half to help Stockton.

Farrell led the Ospreys with career highs of 19 points and 11 rebounds. Cannon scored 12 points and got a career-high 15 rebounds.
