Josh Blamon was the lone player to score in double digits with 10 points as Richard Stockton College defeated The College of New Jersey 58-38 in a New Jersey Athletic Conference men’s basketball game Wednesday.

A 9-0 run to close out the opening half gave the Ospreys a 30-23.

Stockton’s defense took charge in the second half, holding TCNJ to just 15 points.

The Ospreys had another 9-0 run to increase its lead by 17 points in the second half.

Rameel Johnson had a game-high eight rebounds for Stockton.

Stockton women’s basketball: The College of New Jersey overcame a 13-point deficit in the second half and rallied to beat the Ospreys 66-63.

The Lions fell behind 55-42 with 10 minutes, 29 seconds left in the game before embarking on an 16-0 run for the win.

Stockton led 39-32 at the half and slowly built that advantage up to 55-42. The Ospreys had an 11-3 run in the first half to take the lead.

The Ospreys were down 64-63 with 49 seconds remaining when Kylie O’Donnell made two key free-throws with two seconds left.

Alex Nardoza led Stockton with 22 points, including six 3-pointers and five rebounds.

Sara Farrell added 18 points and eight boards in the loss.
