Richard Stockton College runners Morgan Sinclair and James Rivers (Barnegat) took the men’s and women’s 5,000-meter titles, respectively, at the Ursinus College Open Friday.

Sinclair posted an Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference qualifying time of 18 minutes, 37.22 seconds for the victory.

Rivers won the men’s title in 15:32.82, while teammate Randy Faiges placed third in 16:14.80.

Stockton was originally scheduled to compete in the Collegiate Winter Track Conference Championships at Wesleyan University in Connecticut today. That event was canceled, so the runners competed in Friday’s event.

Stockton basketball postponed: The winter storm has postponed Stockton’s basketball games at Ramapo. The women’s game will be played at 5:30 p.m. Monday with the men’s game following at 7:30 p.m.
