Stockton's Sarah Hinkle named NJAC goalkeeper of year

Richard Stockton College junior goalkeeper Sarah Hinkle was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year on Wednesday.

A two-time NJAC all-conference selection, she ranks second in save percentage (.860) and fourth in total saves (80). A three-time NJAC Defensive Player of the Week selection during the 2012 season, Hinkle finished the conference season ranked second in save percentage (.848) and third in goals against average (0.82).

Also named to the first-team was junior forward Katie Lindacher, an Egg Harbor Township High school graduate, from The College of New Jersey.

Stockton forward Jacque Becker, midfielders Leah Braidi (Sacred Heart) and Jessica McQuillen and back Briana Fischer were named to the second team. Also sophomore forward Francesa Gibson (Lower Cape May Regional) of Montclair State was picked for the team.

Sophomore midfielders Rebecca Gougher (Absegami) of Rutgers-Camden and Autumn Herring (Barnegat) of Ramapo were named honorable mention.
