The first day of a high school girls basketball showcase at Mainland Regional High School was canceled due to the winter storm.

Today's games at the Future Stars Shootout at the Shore were either postponed or canceled, Mainland girls basketball coach Scott Betson said Friday night.

However, Betson said that as of Friday night, three of the four games scheduled for Sunday were still on.

Middle Township will play Roselle Catholic at noon Sunday. That will be followed by St. Joseph vs. Cherry Hill East at 3:30 p.m. and Seneca vs. Williamstown at 5:30 p.m.

Betson said that he is trying to reschedule Mainland's game against Camden Catholic for 1:45 on Sunday. The Atlantic City vs. Colts Neck game will not be rescheduled.

There were also two scheduling changes for today at the boys basketball Olympic-Cape Challenge at St. Augustine Prep. Seneca vs. Ocean City and Cherokee vs. Wildwood Catholic were canceled and will not be made up.
