The Buena Regional High School coed swimming team broke three school records and beat Cedar Creek 105-65 Friday at St. Augustine Prep in a Cape-Atlantic League National Conference meet.

Buena's Vlad Kozub, Vito Carbonara, Victor Czeronka and Kenny Kennison won the 200-yard freestyle relay in a school-record 1 minute, 42.65 seconds. The old mark was 1:42.96 by Kozub, Carbonara, Brandon Jiannotti and Czeronka in January of 2012.

Also for the Chiefs, Geena DeFoor was second to Kozub in the 100 backstroke and set a new Buena girls record of 1:11.31. The old mark was 1:19.90 by Katie Albertson in January of last season. Buena's Victoria D'Angelo was fourth in the 100 freestyle in 1:03.83 and broke the girls school record. The old record was 1:06.02 by Katrina Czeronka in January of 2012.
