Why this game is special: Both of these schools are members of the Greater Egg Harbor School District.

The winner receives the Joe Mohr trophy. The late Mohr was the longtime athletic director of Oakcrest and also was the athletic director of the now defunct Egg Harbor City High School.

Absegami won 28-25 last year. Oakcrest hasn't won since 2010.

Absegami update: The Braves feature running back David Hood, who has verbally committed to Temple University and rushed 168 times for 1,320 yards and 15 touchdowns this season. Absegami quarterback Mike Dolan has thrown 11 touchdown passes.

Oakcrest update: Freshman quarterback Kendall Elliott leads the Falcons. He set a South Jersey freshman record with 1,348 passing yards.

Oakcrest sophomore running back Terrance Smith needs 75 yards to top the 1,000 mark for his career.
