Southern Regional High School quarterback Logan Sheehan, above, has relied on senior wide receiver Mike Gesicki, a Penn State recruit.

Why this game is special: These two schools renewed their Thanksgiving rivalry last year. Southern won 35-0 as the schools played on the holiday for the first time since 1983.

The winner receives the Boyd/Emmert Trophy, which is named after deceased Central coach Joe Boyd and former Southern coach Ron Emmert.
