Player of the Year: Matt Monroe, Atlantic City, Sr.

The transfer from St. Augustine Prep was dominant once he joined the Vikings. The 18-year old Ventnor resident took an undefeated record into the semifinal round of the South Jersey Interscholastic Coaches Tournament before losing to eventual champion Ryan Dickerson of Moorestown. Monroe lost just three sets all year, while finishing with an 18-1 record.

Singles

Zack Novick, Middle Township, Jr.

The Cape-Atlantic League individual singles champion posted a 25-5 record, while leading the Panthers to their fifth straight South Jersey Group II final. Novick also helped Middle capture its first outright CAL National Conference title and third overall in as many years. He also reached the Round of 16 at the SJICT.

Pete Lancetta, Hammonton, So.

The CAL individual runner-up was 22-8 despite a hip injury, which bothered him throughout the season. He won in straight sets 21 times. He also reached the SJICT third round.

Matt Worosz, Pinelands Regional, Sr.

The repeat first-teamer won his second straight Ocean County first singles title. The Little Egg Harbor Township resident played a big role in leading the Wildcats to their second straight Shore Conference B South title. Worosz was 19-5.

Doubles

Doug Moglia, Sr.

Ryan Pangilinan, Fr.

Mainland Regional

The Mainland duo wrapped up the CAL doubles title in straight sets, had win streaks of nine and 15 throughout the season and ended with a 26-3 record. They became only the second doubles team in program history to reach the SJICT semifinals and reached the third round of the Individual State Tournament. Moglia earned his second consecutive first team selection.

Taimoor Hussain, Sr.

Lane Bangis, Jr.

Atlantic City

The CAL runners-up and SJICT quarterfinalists aided Atlantic City to its first South Jersey Group IV final since 1984 and fourth overall. The tandem finished 16-8-1 and also helped the Vikings to its first CAL American Conference title since 2008. They recorded 13 wins in straight sets.
