Swimmer of the Year
Colleen Callahan
Atlantic City, Jr.
Named swimmer of the year for the third consecutive season. Three-peated as state champion in the 200 individual medley and 100 breaststroke in record times. Took first in the 200 IM in 2:01.54 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:01.29 (set the old records in both events in 2011).

Rachel Bernhardt
Vineland, Jr.
The repeat first teamer took second in the 100 breaststroke behind Callahan at the Meet of Champions (1:03.15) and won the event at the Cape-Atlantic League individual championships. Also at the MOC, placed 14th in the 50 freestyle (24.84). She also helped the Fighting Clan to a fourth place finish in the 200 freestyle relay.
Rachel Wuko
Wildwood Catholic, Sr.
Makes the first team for the fourth straight year. Placed in the top eight for the fourth straight season at the MOC in the 50 freestyle with a seventh place finish (24.38). Touched 12th (53.30) in the 100 freestyle. Won the 50 freestyle at the Hackney Meet and finished second in the 100 butterfly at the CALs.
Alaura Walz
Oakcrest, Sr.
Lands on the first team for the second consecutive season. Led the Falcons to their first sectional final in program history. Won the 100 butterfly at the Hackneys and CALs, while finishing 12th in the event at the MOC. Took first in the 200 freestyle in Division B at the South Jersey Coaches Invitational and was 14th in the event at the MOC.
Shannon Howarth
Egg Harbor Township, Sr.
Finished seventh at the MOC in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.62) and was runner up at the CALs and Hackneys. Took third place in the 200 IM at the Hackney's (2:32.10). Was a Press all-star all four years, including the first team the last two seasons.
Noel Styer
Ocean City, So.
Makes the first team for the first time with a ninth place victory at the MOC in the 50 freestyle (24.42). Won the event at the CAL championships, while taking first in the 100 freestyle in Division B at the Coaches' Invitational (55.38). Helped the Red Raiders to their second straight CAL National Conference title.
Melanie Wilezol
Ocean City, Jr.
Placed eighth at the MOC in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.79) and was third at the CALs behind Callahan and Bernhardt. Swam the breaststroke leg of the Red Raiders' ninth place 200 medley relay at the MOC (1:51). Was an honorable mention selection her freshman season and leaped onto the first team as a sophomore.
Rachel Chain
Ocean City, So.
Jumped from the second team to the first this season after touching first in the 100 backstroke at the CALs (1:07.69) and 14th at the MOC (1:00.39). Was a member of Ocean City's winning 200 medley and 400 freestyle relays in division B at the Coaches Invitational. Led the Red Raiders to its ninth place finish in the 200 medley relay at the MOC.
Emily Barnard
Absegami, Fr.
Appears on the first team for the first time. Made a name for herself early by winning the 200 freestyle at the Hackney's (2:14.53) and went on to place 15th at the MOC (1:56.33). Took second in the event at the CALs.
Melissa Toy
Atlantic Ciy, Jr.
Makes the first team for the second straight year. Owned the 100 freestyle all season capped with a10th place finish in a school record time 53.03 at the MOC. Won the event at the CALs, Hackney's and Coaches Invitational. Swam the freestyle leg of the state championship winning 200 medley relay in a school record time 1:48.66.
Sydney Boswell
Mainland Regional, Jr.
Achieves first team honors this year after making the second team the previous two seasons. Led the Mustangs to their second straight CAL American Conference title and second straight trip to the South Jersey Public A final. Was a finalist at the MOC in the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke with 16th (1:00.39) and 12th place (59.06) finishes.
Jenna Santora
Mainland Regional, So.
The two-time first team all star swept the regular season by winning the Sectional Six Dive title, the South Jersey Interscholastic Swimming Coaches Association 6-dive title, the Jim Roach 11-dive title and her second straight CAL individual title. She followed that up with a fourth place victory at the state individual championships with a personal best 11-dive score 389.15. The three top finishers at states were all seniors.
