David Hicks

Middle Township, So.

Hicks, The Press Player of the Year, had the lowest nine-hole average in the Cape-Atlantic League National Conference (36.4). Hicks won the CAL Individual Tournament, finished second in the South-Central Jersey Group II tournament, fourth in state Group II at the Tournament of Champions and tied for second at the Garden State Cup.

Mark Benevento

St. Augustine Prep, So.

Benevento had a breakout season for the Hermits. Benevento finished second in the CAL Individual Tournament, fifth in the Carl Arena/Al Rifkin Memorial and tied for second in the Galloway National Challenge. Had the second lowest average in the area with a 35.4.

Eric Dargis

Vineland, Jr.

Dargis qualified for the TOC for the first time with a fourth-place finish in South-Central Jersey Group IV and finished 10th in state Group IV. Tied for seventh in the Galloway National Challenge and had a 36.5 nine-hole average.

Cody Dazen

St. Augustine Prep, Sr.

A four-time Press All-Star headed to play the University of Delaware, Dazen had the lowest nine-hole average of any area golfer with a sub-par 34.8. Tied for seventh at the Galloway National Challenge and finished just outside the top five at the Arena.

Dom DiGiacomo

Ocean City, Jr.

DiGiacomo led all area golfers with a second-place finish at the Arena and finished tied for second at the Garden State Cup. Had the third lowest average in the CAL American.

Jackson Fiel

Southern Regional, So.

Won the Ocean County Tournament, tied for second at the Galloway National Challenge and became the third golfer in school history to qualify for the TOC with a second-place finish in South-Central Jersey Group IV.

Chris Filling

Absegami, Sr.

Fourth best average in the CAL American (36.0), Filling tied for second at the Galloway National Challenge and seventh in the Garden State Cup.

Kevin O'Donnell

Middle Twp., Sr.

O'Donnell won the last 58 matches of his high school career and only lost two in his four years on the team. Committed to Chestnut Hill College, O'Donnell finished third in South-Central Group II for his second straight Top-5 finish. Third lowest average in the CAL National (38.6).

John Petronis

Mainland Reg., Sr.

Petronis tied for fourth in South-Central Jersey Group III. Went on to win the state Group III title and finished seventh overall in the state. Finished seventh in the CAL Individual tournament, 20th in the Arena and will play next season at Catawba College in North Carolina.

Colin Roche

Mainland Reg., Jr.

Tied for fourth in South-Central Group III and tied for second in state Group II. Had the fifth-lowest average in the CAL American (36.2).

Blake Vogdes

Wildwood Catholic, So.

Vogdes had the second-lowest average in the CAL National (38.4). Tied for second in South Jersey Non-Public B to qualify for the TOC, where he finished tied for eighth in state Non-Public B.
