Toms River native Garrett Reynolds won gold at the Summer X Games for the fifth straight year in BMX Freestyle Street on Friday. Reynolds' final-run score of 43 gave him a total score of 85. Reynolds won his first gold at the age of 17.
Rookie Chad Kerley grabbed silver with a score of 83, while veteran Dakota Roche, who scored a 69, claimed bronze for the second straight year.
Scottie Cranmer, a Jackson Township native, will compete in the BMX Freestyle Park final this afternoon.
