Holy Spirit High School had four of its players sign national letters of intent Wednesday.

The Spartans were known for their defense the last four years in which they played in four Group II State Championship games, winning three. Four players from those defenses will play at Division I schools.

T.J. Anderson will play defense at Rhode Island, A.J. Dawson will play defensive back at Maine, Jeff Steeb will play linebacker at Villanova and Ray Ellis will play defensive tackle at Florida Atlantic.

Holy Spirit finished 11-1 last season and No. 2 in The Press Elite 11.
