The Absegami High School girls volleyball team beat visiting Middle Township 2-0 on Monday. The scores were 25-11 and 25-11.

Absegami's Dionise Ko had 16 assists, while teammate Barbara Gedeon added six kills, and Alyssa Kurz had four aces and three kills. For Middle, Stacey Hand led with 11 digs, four kills and 10 assists, and Sara Morano had eight digs. The Braves improved to 7-2.

The visiting Wildcats won with game scores of 25-23 and 25-21. Samantha Wetzel led St. Joseph with 11 kills, three blocks and four digs, while Kathryn Bromiley had three kills, one blocks, six digs and one assist, and Dana DiRenzo added three kills, one block, seven digs and seven assists. For OLMA (3-4), Samantha Spurrier had an ace and six kills, and Nicole Burrichter added two kills, one block, two digs and nine assists.

Pleasantville 0

Oakcrest defeated Pleasantville, 25-18, 25-9.

Erin Thompson had 17 assists and one ace for Oakcrest and Amber Anthony had 10 kills and four aces. Stephanie Jorge led the Greyhounds with three kills and Maria Mercedes added eight assists.
