The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins scored two goals in the final seven minutes to beat the Albany Devils 2-1 on Saturday at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton is the American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Pittsburgh Penguins, and Albany is the affiliate of the New Jersey Devils.
With 6 minutes, 27 seconds remaining in the game, Penguins defenseman Brendan Mikkelson beat Devils goalie Kieth Kinkaid to tie the game at 1-1. Former Philadelphia Flyer Harry Zolnierczyk had the primary assist.
Tom Kostopoulos scored to give the Penguins a 2-1 lead with 3:52 left in regulation.
The Devils will host the Penguins at Boardwalk Hall again on Sunday, March 23 at 4 p.m. It will be the Devils' fourth and final game at Boardwalk Hall this season.
