Winless Ocean City Nor'easters earn fourth tie of season

The Ocean City Nor'easters tied the host Central Jersey Spartans 2-2 in a Premier Development League men's soccer game Sunday afternoon at Rider University in Lawrenceville, Mercer County.

Ryan Brown scored the game's first goal in the 15th minute off a free kick for Central Jersey (1-5-2).

Jack Bailey evened the score 10 minutes later for Ocean City (0-4-4) with a low shot to the right of goalie Rafael Diaz.

In his season debut for the Nor'easters, goalkeeper Tunde Ogunbiyi made 16 saves to keep Ocean City in the match, but the Spartans' Jean Pierre Rosero beat him in the box for a 2-1 lead in the 70th minute.

Byron Carmichael, in his final season with the Nor'easters, scored the late tying goal from 12 yards out.
