NEW HAVEN, Conn. — Michael Grace and Greg Kelley scored 13 points apiece to lift Yale over Princeton 71-66 Friday night in Ivy League play.

Javier Duren added 12 points and Austin Morgan 11 for the Bulldogs, who swept the season series against the Tigers for the first time since 2008.

Yale (13-17, 7-6) used a 17-5 run over the final 9 minutes of the first half to take a 36-24 lead into intermission. Princeton roared back to within one, 62-61, on Ian Hummer’s jumper with 3:08 remaining, but scored just five points the rest of the way.

Princeton (16-10, 9-3), which sits half a game behind Harvard for first place after the Crimson’s win over Columbia, shot 52 percent (23 of 44). Yale answered with its second-best shooting performance of the season, 61 percent (23 of 38), and made 16 of 20 free throws.

T.J. Bray paced Princeton with 17 points.
