The Linwood ages 11-12 baseball team rallied to beat Hammonton 9-7 on Sunday in a District 16 Little League game.

Linwood's Hunter Rich went 3-for-3 to lead Linwood's 14-hit attack, and Jack Petitt and Jack Sarkos each had two hits. Connor Neiderer, Duncan Scandin, Jesse Stokes, Mike Librizzi and John Rich each added RBI hits.

Linwood scored five runs in the fourth inning. Neiderer came on to pitch in the sixth inning with the bases loaded and no outs. He struck out two to end the game.

Hammonton's Peyton Lemuyon hit a three-run homer. Dalton Scola had two hits and three runs, and Giancarlo Palmieri scored twice.

Linwood will play Absecon at 7 p.m. today in Somers Point.

Margate 6, Ventnor 4: Winning pitcher Wyatt Stetzer went 3-for-3 with a solo homer and four RBIs, and Shane Ferry added two hits and an RBI.

Jake Lamonaca had two hits and John Bee a double and an RBI.

Stetzer pitched five innings, and Lamonaca worked the sixth. They combined for eight strikeouts.

For Ventnor, Frank Curtin pitched 4 innings. Alvaro Lora had a hit and an RBI.

Margate plays Lower Cape May at 7 p.m. today (in Lower).

(Friday night) Northfield 28, Lower Cape May 3, four innings: Northfield's Devin Sharkey went 5-for-5 with three homers and seven RBIs, and Joseph Massari was 5-for-5 with two home runs and five RBIs. Joseph Bonczek was 4-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs. Jayson Hoopes went 2-for-2 with a home run and three RBIs. Nick Atohi and Dylan Porr also homered.

Lower Cape May's Chris Houngas hit a two-run double in the first inning.

Northfield meets Ocean City in the winners bracket final at 7 p.m. today in Middle Township.
