The Buena 16-and-under baseball team won their second straight District 16 title on Wednesday with a 14-0 victory over Woodstown in five innings.

Buena swept the best-of-three game series.

Lenny Coulter tossed a complete-game two-hitter with six strikeouts.

Dom Lopez had three hits and George DiBiase had two doubles and two RBIs. Buena advances to the Section 4 tournament in Cherry Hill on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Northfield 20, Cherry Hill Atlantic 12: Northfield came back from a 10-4 deficit to win a second-round game on Tuesday in Elmer. Jessica Ingram pitched a complete game, striking out 12. It was Ingram’s fourth straight victory in tournament play.

Northfield’s Ava Zanaras went 6-for-6 with three triples, a double and nine RBIs. Jarah Higbee had two hits and three runs. Julia Martinez also scored three runs, and Brooke Albuquerque had four.

Northfield moves on in the winner’s bracket to play Harrison in Elmer at 6 p.m. today.
