Pitchers Olivia Goff and Bailey Arena combined on a no-hitter with eight strikeouts and two walks as the Northfield 11-12 softball team beat Monroe Township 15-0 in four innings Wednesday in a Section 4 game in Cherry Hill.

Northfield is the District 16 champion. Goff, the winning pitcher, went three innings and struck out six. Amanda Kinkler had four hits, including two doubles, and three runs. Brianna Barretta and Shannon Bennett each added two hits.

Buena 10, Woodstown 0, six innings: Buena's Dom Lopez had two doubles and two RBIs, while George DiBiase scored four runs, Jordan Ellis had three runs. Pitchers Lenny Coulter, David Krail and Kris Morgenweck combined for a three-hit shutout. Buena plays Penns Grove at 5:45 p.m. Friday in Penns Grove.

11-12 baseball

Margate 19, Lower Cape May 9, five innings: Margate's Wyatt Stetzer went 4-for-4 with a three-run homer and six RBIs. Jake Lamonaca also hit a three-run home run. Nick West had three hits for Margate, and Jaden Millstein and Shane Ferry each added two hits. Millstein pitched into the third inning, and Lamonaca relieved.

For Lower Cape May, Bastan Miller led with three hits, and Joey Melo, Robert Ready and Kenny Haungs each had two hits. Margate plays Linwood at 7 p.m. Friday in Hammonton.

District 16

9-10 softball

Hammonton 12, Greater Wildwood 2, five innings: Hammonton pitchers Ashlynne Scardino and Isabel Gazzara combined on a no-hitter. Scardino had four strikeouts in two innings, and Gazzara had four strikeouts in three innings.

Gazzara went 3-for-4 at the plate, while Alexis DeRosa was 2-for-2. Scardino and Madilyn Mortelliti were both 2-for-3 and Emma Barnett tripled.
