Khalif Toombs (Atlantic City) scored 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting to help South Carolina State beat Delaware State 62-60. Toombs played 32 minutes, getting six assists and three rebounds for the Bulldogs (6-23, 2-14 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), who had lost 20 of their last 21 games.
