A LOOK AHEAD

The St. Augustine Prep boys basketball team won a state title in 2011. Atlantic City did the same in 2012.

Can a local team make it three in a row next season?

Atlantic City (26-6) should once again be a contender to win Cape-Atlantic League and state Group IV titles. The Vikings will feature a tall front line with 6-foot-6 Ga-briel Chandler, 6-8 Jahleem Montague and 6-5 Dennis White. Atlantic City also returns standout guard Dayshawn Reynolds, and sophomore Isaiah Graves showed enormous potential in the state tournament.

Holy Spirit (18-10) and Middle Township (18-11) should also be top contenders for CAL and South Jersey titles. Holy Spirit features shooting guard Paul Moore and forward Junior Saintel, while Middle returns starters Tom Feraco, Darrell Shelton, Tom Catanoso and LaMarr Greer.
