The Barnegat High School football team evened its record at 5-5 with a 49-0 rout over host Pinelands Regional on Wednesday in the teams’ third annual Thanksgiving game.
A.J. Opre led the Bengals with three rushing touchdowns, including scores of 99 and 85 yards. Barnegat had a 36-point lead going into the half.
Chris Stoma, Ryan Ulrich, Pat Moran and Kevin Hoffman also scored for Barnegat.
