The win gives Hammonton coach Pete Lancetta 174 career wins, one more than former Atlantic City coach John Boyd, who had 173. Lancetta is the Cape-Atlantic League's second-winningest coach behind only St. Joseph's Paul Sacco, who has 231.
Haammonton quarterback Nick Crescenzo (seven runs for 166 yards) ran for two touchdowns and completed 3-of-6 passes, all to tight end Ian Evans (one was a 9-yard TD). Running back Antonio Rodriguez (six runs for 49 yards) ran for scores from 22 and 5 yards out. Esteban Sandoval kicked five extra points. David Crescenzo, Nick's cousin, had nine rushes for 44 yards.
Hammonton defensive back Julio Rodriguez, Antonio's brother, had two interceptions, while Antonio Rodriguez had one and Nick Crescenzo had another.
Ocean City quarterback Chris Curran left the game in the third quarter with an injury and did not return.
