Cumberland Regional High School senior running back Charles Wynder scored four touchdowns for the second week in a row to lead the host Colts over Woodrow Wilson 40-28 in a West Jersey Football League Royal Division game Friday night. Wynder's 27-yard run for a touchdown midway through the third quarter gave Cumberland (4-3) the lead for good after Woodrow Wilson had tied the game at 20-20.
Colts fullback Troy Eubanks ran 15 yards for the Colts' first score in the opening quarter, and teammate Charles Clark ran 16 yards for another TD in the quarter. The score was tied at 14-14 after 12 minutes. Wynder's 10-yard run put the Colts up 20-14 at halftime.
Wynder scored on runs of 21 and 18 yards in the fourth quarter and Cumberland led 40-20. Woodrow Wilson (5-2) scored on a kickoff return with five minutes left in the fourth quarter to cut the lead to 40-28, but Cumberland's Milton Morris recovered the ensuing onsides kick to keep the Colts in control.
Wynder also had four touchdowns last Friday as Cumberland beat Deptford Township 36-0.
