Why this game is important: These two Shore Conference schools play for the second time on Thanksgiving. Barnegat can win the Shore Conference B South title with a victory.

Barnegat won last year 30-28 and leads the series 3-2.

Pinelands Regional update: The Wildcats are young and have struggled, especially on offense, this season.

They've struggled to replace running back Matt McLain, who rushed for more than 2,000 yards last season.

Barnegat update: The Bengals lost to West Deptford 49-10 in the South Jersey Group II semifinals last Friday.

Barnegat quarterback Mark McCoy has thrown 14 touchdown passes - five of them to wide receiver Pat Moran. Tight end Ryan Morris has committed to attend Big Ten school Purdue on a football scholarship.
