Bridgeton High School quarterback Tamar Jackson fired three touchdown passes to wide receiver Jae DeShields to lead the Bulldogs to a 36-0 win over host Pleasantville in a Cape-Atlantic League United Division game. Jackson, a junior, also ran for a score.
Jackson threw a 67-yard TD pass to DeShields on Bridgeton's first drive of the game.
He also passed to DeShields for touchdowns of 6 and 43 yards. Jackson scrambled 35 yards early in the fourth quarter for the only touchdown of the second half. Bridgeton's other touchdown came on a 5-yard run by Kevin Bunton.
The Bulldogs added a two-point conversion as Ronald Williams passed to Taron Byers to make the score 29-0 at hafltime.
For Pleasantville, quarterback Josh Evans had 70 yards rushing on 13 carries, and Evans had 11 tackles and a sack at linebacker.
Running back Dontaye Rivera had 21 yards on seven carries. Cornerback Kenny Brown had four tackles and an interception.
