Why this game is important: Although this rivalry began in 2002, it has a neighborhood feel, as the schools are located a short drive from each other. Cumberland won last year 27-23 but Schalick leads the series 5-4.

Schalick update: Schalick comes off a 34-13 loss to Haddon Heights in the first round of the South Jersey Group I playoffs on Nov. 12. Schalick running back Michael Johnson has rushed for 1,063 yards.

Cumberland update: The Colts have won three of their last four games, including a 35-19 Nov. 11 consolation game victory over Cherry Hill West. Sophomore running back De'Hahn Milledge rushed for 168 yards and four touchdowns in the win. Milledge has carried 118 times for 826 yards and eight touchdowns.
