Mike DeTroia had a big game for Barnegat, catching seven passes for 222 yards and three touchdowns. One of the 6-foot-4 wide receiver's touchdowns was scored on a 98-yard catch.

Quarterback Nick SanGiacomo threw four touchdown passes.

Wideout Ian Moore had a pair of touchdowns for Rumson Fair-Haven.

Records-Barnegat 1-0; Rumson FH 0-1.
