Few high school football teams enter the postseason playing as well as Oakcrest. The Falcons have won four straight - all by shutout. Oakcrest has outscored its opponents 137-0 in those victories.
Moorestown has dropped two straight. The Quakers have played a tough schedule. Their four losses are to teams with a combined record of 25-7. Moorestown quarterback Andrew Lisa is one of South Jersey's best with 1,793 yards passing.
This is Oakcrest's second straight playoff appearance. The Falcons entered the playoffs on a five-game winning streak last year and rode that momentum to a South Jersey final. Can they do the same this season?
Key players for Oakcrest: Danny Smith, QB, 15-of-33 for 259 yards and four touchdowns; Fabian Santiago, RB, 268 rushing yards; Brandon Bell (above), RB/LB, 261 rushing yards and 91 tackles on defense; Mark Clements, WR/DB, nine catches for 211 yards and five interceptions on defense; Mike Blackwell, LB, three sacks and 58 tackles.
Key players for Moorestown: Andrew Lisa, QB, 146-of-220 for 1,793 yards and 12 touchdowns; Delaney Wallace, RB, 85 carries for 397 yards; Zac Frantz, RB/DB, 37 catches for 513 yards; Sidney Ruffin, WR, 29 catches for 308 yards; Brent Ogle, LB, 67 tackles; Drew Pederson, DB, six interceptions.
Keys to victory: Lisa will test Mark Clements and the Oakcrest secondary. Moorestown throws for an average of 208.3 yards per game. One way for Oakcrest to slow Lisa is control the ball on offense. The Falcons probably don't want to get into a shootout with Moorestown.
