Quasheem Taylor's 39-yard touchdown run in the third quarter proved to be the game-winner as Bridgeton High School defeated visiting Buena Regional 14-8 in a Cape-Atlantic League National Conference football game Friday.
Taylor also scored on a 14-yard run midway through the first quarter. He carried 11 times for 105 yards.
Ron Williams completed 8-of-15 passes for 107 yards. Nazir Williams had three receptions for 48 yards.
Buena Regional's Luv'Uan Scott scored in the second quarter on a 7-yard run. Quarterback Eric Rainear's two-point conversion run tied the game 8-8 before Bridgeton regained the lead.
Scott ran for 105 yards on 19 carries for Buena.
