Unbeaten Lacey, fourth in The Press Elite 11, pulled away in the second half and beat visiting Toms River South 42-20 in a Shore Conference A South game Saturday.
Lions quarterback Tom Kelly threw four touchdown passes, two to Christian Tutela and two to Kyle Spatz.
Lacey went up 6-0 in the first quarter when defensive back Chris Jensen picked up a fumble and returned it 40 yards for a touchdown.
Toms River South scored twice to take a 14-6 first-quarter lead. But Lacey tied it when Kelly hit Tutela with a 66-yard TD pass, and Bill Belford caught a two-point conversion.
South scored again, but Tutela's 82-yard touchdown reception and an extra point put Lacey up 21-20 at halftime. Spatz scored all three Lions touchdowns in the second half, the first on a 22-yard run in the third quarter. He caught the two TD passes in the fourth quarter.
Toms River South's Robert Hailey scored two touchdowns.
