The Wildwood High School football team didn't play Saturday or Sunday, but the Warriors still had one of the biggest weekends in the program's history.
Because of the results of other games, Wildwood clinched a spot in the South Jersey Group I playoffs.
The playoffs began in 1974, and Wildwood never had qualified for the postseason.
The Warriors will be on the road for the their first-ever playoff game, which will be played the weekend of Nov. 16-17.
Wildwood will be seeded no higher than No. 6 in the eight-team field.
