Lacey Township fullback Jake Timony ran for a 18-yard touchdown with 9 minutes, 40 seconds left in the game as the Lions held on to beat host Manchester Township 9-7 in a Shore Conference B South game Friday night.

Liam Dolly put Lacey on the board with 6:34 remaining in the first half with a 21-yard field goal to help the Lions improve to 2-2. Manchester jumped out to an early lead on a 50-yard touchdown run by Joe Johnson. Tom Sokol kicked the extra point. Manchester fell to 2-2.
