Why this game is special: These teams meet for the 140th time today. They first played in 1893. Millville has won two straight.

Vineland update: If the Fighting Clan upset Millville, it will be one of the biggest wins in Vineland history. Vineland comes off a 41-13 loss to Lenape in a Nov. 11 consolation game. Running backs Marcus Nelson (111 carries for 604 yards) and Isaiah Spencer (52 carries for 310 yards) lead the Vineland offense.

Millville update: The Thunderbolts and running back Alquann Jones are in the midst of a historic season. Millville, No. 3 in The Press Elite 11, will meet Pennsauken for the South Jersey Group IV title on Dec. 2 at Rowan University. Millville hasn't played in a South Jersey title game since 1997 and hasn't won a sectional championship since 1975. Jones has rushed for 2,036 yards and needs just 25 yards to break the Cape-Atlantic League record of 2,060 set by William Washington of Holy Spirit in 2007.

Jones also is two touchdowns away from breaking the school single-season record of 25 set by Phil Jackson in 1957.
