Sophomore running back Donta Pollack scored three times for the Spartans, No. 9 in the Press' Elite 11.
Pollack scored on a 1-yard run, an 8-yard run and also recovered a blocked punt and took it 24 yards for a score.
Nigel Jones, the Spartans' other sophmore running back, broke around the left end in the third quarter and took the ball 63 yards to the end zone. He also scored on an 8-yard run. Jones finished with 118 yards on 10 carries.
Quarterback Joe Callahan, who finished 8-for-13 for 194 yards, found Joe Sarnese in the end zone, and a Middle punt was blocked and recovered in the end zone to finish the Spartans scoring.
Nolan Quinn scored the only Panthers touchdown on a 3-yard run. He completed 12-of-22 for 126 yards. Alex Williams rushed for 74 yards on 12 carries.
