No. 3 Lacey Township 42,

Central Regional 6

Lacey Township quarterback Craig Cicardo completed three touchdown passes as the Lions, No. 3 in The Press Elite 11, clinched the Shore Conference B South division title.

Cicardo, who has 12 touchdown passes this season, connected twice with Cameron Blackwell and threw a 26-yard TD pass to Zach Torrell. Blackwell, a senior wide receiver, has four touchdown receptions in the past three games.

Lacey's lead was just 7-6 at the end of the first quarter after Central Regional's Kalyph Hardy scored on a 4-yard run.

At the beginning of the second quarter, Lacey's Dave Vieira blocked a punt and ran 25 yards for a touchdown. Central was scoreless for the rest of the game.

The Lions played without kicker/running back Jarrod Molzon, who sat out with an ankle injury. Lacey's other kicker, Matt Ruhnke, was 6-for-6 in extra-point attempts.
