Why this game is special: This is the Cape-Atlantic League's only intra-district rivalry. Both schools are members of the Greater Egg Harbor School District. Absegami has won six straight games, including 35-7 last year, and leads the rivalry 17-16.

Absegami update: The Braves have won three of their last four games. Absegami features two of the region's top running backs in David Hood and Ben Martin.

Hood has scored 15 touchdowns, while Martin has rushed for 1,100 yards.

Oakcrest update: A win would give Oakcrest its first winning season since it finished 7-3 in 1998. The Falcons have won four of their last five games. Oakcrest has two shutouts and has not allowed more than eight points in its last five games. Falcons running back/defensive back Craig James is headed to Villanova. Oakcrest has a strong running game with Myron Brown, Michael Smith and James.
