EVESHAM TOWNSHIP - Quarterback Andy Martin threw three touchdown
passes to lead the Cherokee High School football team to a 33-6 win
over Oakcrest in the South Jersey Group IV final Saturday
afternoon.
Cherokee finished 12-0 for the first time in school history. The
loss ended what has been one of the best seasons in Oakcrest
history.
The Falcons (9-3) never reached a South Jersey final before and
hadn't had a winning season since 1998.
