7 p.m. today, 1240-AM: A key game for both teams' South Jersey Group II playoff hopes. Buena beat Bridgeton twice last season, including in the S.J. Group II quarterfinals. Quarterback Donetae McKinnon and running back Michael Haygood each gained more than 100 yards as Buena beat Pleasantville 19-12 last Friday. Bridgeton comes off a 49-6 loss to St. Augustine Prep. 7 p.m. today, 106.7 FM: Holy Spirit is No. 9 in The Press' Elite 11. The Spartans have outscored their opponents 86-12. Spirit running back Nigel Jones has scored six touchdowns. Noon Saturday: Pleasantville is winless but much improved from last season. Quarterback Antwan Dixon leads the Greyhounds with two touchdown passes. St. Joe beat Middle Township 45-7 last Saturday. That was the most points the Wildcats had scored since a 62-0 win over Lower Cape May on Oct. 12, 2007. 7 p.m. today, 1440-AM: Absegami comes off a 31-12 win over Vineland. The Braves have been strong on the ground with running backs David Hood (218 rushing yards) and Ben Martin (122 rushing yards). Atlantic City (0-2) at Hammonton (1-0)

7 p.m. today: Hammonton is No. 7 in the Elite 11. The Blue Devils had last week off after beating Absegami 41-12. David Crescenzo rushed for 110 yards in the win. His cousin, quarterback Nick Crescenzo, completed 4-of-5 passes for 98 yards and a touchdown. Atlantic City has struggled, having scored just one touchdown - a kickoff return from Keith Gray - in its first two games. 2008 result: Hammonton 47, Atlantic City 0

7 p.m. today: Egg Harbor Township is No. 6 in the Elite 11. The Eagles have outscored opponents 65-7 and have yet to give up a defensive touchdown. Tejay Johnson and Stephan Thomas have each rushed for three touchdowns. Oakcrest comes off a 29-13 win over Ocean City. The Falcons rushed for 270 yards. 7 p.m. today 98.7 FM: One of the region's top rivalries. Mainland leads series 22-16. Ocean City hasn't beaten the Mustangs since 2004. Mainland has won 14 straight games. Freshman quarterback Tom Bradway (21-of-30 for 186 yards) has thrown three touchdown passes. Senior defensive lineman Antoine Lewis (20 tackles) sparks the defense. Ocean City quarterback Chris Curran completed 14-of-28 passes for 165 yards and a touchdown in last Friday's 29-13 loss to Oakcrest. 2008 result: Mainland 56, Ocean City 7

7 p.m. today: Glassboro is No. 11 in the Elite 11 and has won 26 straight games. A young Cumberland team has struggled on offense with just three points in two games. 7 p.m. today: Freshman running back Wesley Hills showed promise in the Warriors' 35-8 season-opening loss to Pitman. Pennsville runs the no-huddle spread offense.
