The Wildcats jumped out to a 44-point lead in the first quarter, setting a school record for most points scored in a quarter, en route to a win over Pleasantville.

St. Joseph, the No. 1 team in the Press Elite 11, has won 14 consecutive games, including a 6-0 record this season.

The defense helped with the first-quarter scoring, as Kaiwan Lewis and Max Valles both returned fumbles for touchdowns.

Kaheem Reynolds started the scoring with a 65-yard pass from quarterback Anthony Giagunto. Eli Pogue ran for a 30-yard score for his ninth touchdown of the season.

Kicker Rocco Ordille was 4-for-5 in extra points.

Pleasantville avoided the shutout with a safety with 8:02 left to play.
