Vineland was up 8-0 at the end of the first quarter, but St. Augustine Prep went on to score 19 unanswered points for its second victory of the season.

Hermits sophomore running back Taalib Gerald scored two touchdowns on 15- and 8-yard runs. Joseph Gatto's 88-yard carry in the third quarter set up Gerald's second TD run.

St. Augustine also got points from Taylor Hurff, who kicked a 32-yard field goal, and from a safety in the fourth quarter following a bad Vineland snap in the end zone.

For Vineland, quarterback Tory Clark completed a 31-yard touchdown pass to Toure Douglas after the Fighting Clan recovered a St. Augustine fumble in the first quarter.
