Vineland’s Isaiah Spencer completed a big comeback for the Fighting Clan with a 61-yard punt return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter.
Spencer also had an 81-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in the first quarter and a 37-yard scoring run in the third quarter.
Pleasantville had a 16-point lead midway through the third quarter, until Vineland fought back with two late scores.
For Pleasantville, Tariq Harris tied the game in the second quarter on a 29-yard pass from quarterback Che’quan Hargrose. In the third, Hargrose gave Pleasantville the lead on a 1-yard touchdown run and Victor Walker extended that lead with a 16-yard interception return.
With five minutes left, the Greyhounds had a chance to score until Vineland’s Ben Anderson grabbed an interception.
