The Lacey Township High School football team lost its first game in more than a year as the No. 9 team in The Press Elite 11 lost to Wall Township 21-14 on Saturday in a Shore Conference game.
Junior running back Kyle Spatz ran for 157 yards and a touchdown for the Lions, No. 9 in The Press Elite 11. Spatz broke five tackles during a 31-yard TD run with 1 minute, 35 seconds left in the third quarter.
Chris Jensen also scored for Lacey on a 3-yard carry.
Wall's Conor Mulholland scored the game-winning touchdown in the fourth, when he caught a 30-yard pass from quarterback Steve Cluely. Senior running back Jim Guiliano had 127 yards and two touchdowns.
