Wildwood fades late to lose to Pitman

Wildwood kept the game close until the fourth quarter, when Pitman jumped out to a 13-point lead. Brandon Rencher recovered a fumble and ran it in for a 62-yard touchdown, making it 33-6. Wildwood's Wesley Hills lessened the blow with a 37-yard rushing touchdown.

Hills also scored on a 67-yard run in the third quarter for the Warriors' first touchdown of the night. Hills ran 18 times for 207 yards.

Eddie Lopez and Hills led Wildwood on defense with 14 and 13 tackles, respectively. Tyler DeGroff had an interception.

Running back Will Cioffi led Pitman with two touchdowns. The Panthers earned their first win of the season.
