Pitman 34, Wildwood 8

Pitman went up 34-0 before host Wildwood, playing its first game of the season, got on the board with four minutes left to play in a Tri-County Conference game.

Wildwood quarterback Sean Reidy ran three yards up the middle for the touchdown, and Reidy added the two-point conversion on a bootleg to the right.

The Warriors recovered a fumble on the first play from scrimmage after the ensuing kickoff and drove 30 yards to the Pitman 4-yard line before time expired.

Wildwood cornerback Rick Palmer intercepted a pass in the end zone to prevent a Panthers touchdown in the first period. Warriors freshman running back Wesley Hills rushed for 41 yards on six carries, all in the fourth quarter.

Pitman 7 14 13 0 - 34

Wildwood 0 0 0 8 - 8

RECORDS - Pitman 1-1; Wildwood 0-1.
