Wesley Hills rushed for 191 yards and scored four touchdowns to lead Wildwood to a 42-0 win over Riverside in a high school football game at Riverside on Friday.

Head coach Rich Hans said the team’s 2-0 start is the first time Wildwood has reached that mark in more than 20 years.

“We’ve played two teams that are at our level,” Hans said. “Both teams we played still had more guys than us, but our guys go out there and battle. We have a lot of senior leadership and they go out there and play hard and don’t take themselves out of the games.”

Francis Christian added two touchdowns for the Warriors, one on a 23-yard rush, and another on a 32-yard pass from Hills. Wildwood quarterback Devon Bradshaw completed 7-of-15 passes for 39 yards, and connected for three two-point conversions.

Hans said that Wildwood is remaining positive about the season.

“Our energy is really high at practice,” Hans said. “We have Pennsville next week, and we’re going to go up there and try to upset them.”
